If the pet needs a walk: Don’t scroll away the time you’re supposed to spend with your pet.
Waking up and turning to your phone before your partner: If your phone is the first thing you look at, your partner may not be very happy bout it.
Checking your phone during a meal: You don’t want to separate yourself from real-life interactions with your family.
Staring at a screen while walking: Distracted walking is dangerous for you and others.
Checking your phone during conversation: That’s just plain rude. You’re supposed to look at people when they are talking to you.
While watching TV with your partner or friends: It’s rude, unless both parties are happy doing it.
Using phone in the bathroom: Not only is it bad hygiene, when you take calls in bathroom the voice is echoey and often gives away where you are speaking from.
When attending a funeral: It may give an impression that you are not present and could be construed as disrespectful.
On public transport: Calls of personal or intimate nature are best avoided when you’re stuck on a bus or a metro coach with others.
