Your Guide To CheckIf Your Pan CardIs Valid Or Not

Log on towww.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal/ and click on 'Verifyyour PAN' which is on the leftcolumn under the 'QuickLinks' section.

As soon as you click on theVerify your PAN' tab, you'llbe redirected to a pagewhere you are required tofill in some details.

These details includePAN number, name,date of birth andcontact number.

Next, you’ll be redirectedto another page where youwill have to put the OTPsent on your registeredmobile number.

Make sure yourmobile number islinked to PAN.

Enter the OTP receivedand click on 'Validate'.

If your PAN card details haven't beenduplicated or issued to multiplepeople, the last page will show 'PANis Active and details are as per PAN'.

If you have more than one PANcard registered under the samepersonal details, a message willappear saying, "There are multiplerecords for this query. Provideadditional information

In this case, you'll have toprovide your father'sname and otheridentification details.
